An evergreen shrub with lush, glossy green foliage, Gardenia Florida flowers from late Spring to Autumn, producing highly fragrant white flowers that emerge at the tips of the branches. Ideal as a low hedge or feature plant and perfect for planting near entertaining or outdoor areas where the fragrance can be enjoyed. They will grow about 1m x 1m. Gardenia Florida requires frequent watering throughout the growing seasons and should be fertilised regularly to keep them thriving. Applying a layer of mulch around the base of the plants in Spring will help retain moisture in the soil and around the roots during dry spells. Best used in potted displays, low hedge or as a feature plant.
